At Guide Dogs, we assist people in getting around and living safely in their own home. This training is particularly useful when they move to a new neighbourhood, or when they move into a new home or living situation.

The home can be a difficult place to negotiate for some people especially when there are obstacles indoors, in the garden, and even on the way to the letterbox.

Our Orientation and Mobility Instructors familiarise people with their home and surroundings, so they can move around independently. We travel to their homes, anywhere in New South Wales and the ACT, so the mobility training meets their individual requirements.
