What you should know about requesting a service/ making a referral.

Guide Dogs NSW/ACT is here to assist every person with vision impairment in New South Wales and the ACT. We provide advice and training in Orientation and Mobility, so people can get around more safely and independently.

Who can refer?

Anyone can refer themselves. If you wish to refer another person, they must be aware of and happy about the referral.

What information is needed?

To provide appropriate services to our clients, we need certain information about them. All information given to us by our clients is treated confidentially. If you feel uncomfortable about submitting your details via the Internet, or if you would prefer to discuss your situation with one of our team, please call one of our offices.

How can you confirm the information you have given to us?

If you supply us with your contact email address, an email will be sent to you summarising the information you have given to us.

When will Guide Dogs get back to you?

If you fill out the online form, we will contact the person being referred to us within two weeks.
