Passenger Transport Act
The Passenger Transport Act 1990 (New South Wales) Regulations apply to public transport (including buses, ferries and taxis) and allow assistance animals to accompany their users when using public transport. The Rail Safety Act 1993 (New South Wales) Regulation allows assistance animals to accompany their users on trains. This legislation also allows assistance animals in training to travel on all forms of public transport.
