WHITE CANES COME IN ALL SHAPES AND COLOURS

Most people think we provide just Guide Dogs to those with vision impairment, but there is one mobility aid that we provide to most of our 12,000 clients across the state – a simple white cane.

Whatever shape, size or colour, every single one of our canes comes free with a totally personalised and comprehensive training program, which enables the user to navigate their way through life - their way.

Well, not that simple, we have over ten different types of canes depending on a client’s needs from an elegant black cane for the style conscious executive, to a cane designed for the toughest bush walks.

They even come in green and pink.

After all, we believe that everyone has the right to live their life freely, and if all that it takes is a simple white cane, then we’ll go as far as to make it sky blue or pink with yellow spots.

And we are with them every step of the way; once the initial training is over we keep in contact with every client and are always at hand to help them with any new challenges.
