Soundtracks Edition 31
 Printer Friendly

Welcome to our June edition of Soundtracks.

Soundtracks is an audio newsletter produced by Guide Dogs NSW/ACT with the assistance of 2NUR FM Radio in Newcastle.

If you think your friends or relatives would like to receive Soundtracks, contact your local Guide Dogs office and they’ll be more than happy to add their name to our mailing list. Phone numbers for your local offices will be provided at the conclusion of this audio tape.

For our new listeners we will explain how Soundtracks is presented.  At the beginning of each article you will hear the word “Item” with a number and the title of the article.  As each article concludes you will hear the word “Ends”, which will be followed by a ten second pause.  This break is included to make it easier for those of you with cueing machines, to detect the breaks between articles.  The words, “You’re listening to Soundtracks” indicate that the next story is about to commence.

Guide Dogs would like to emphasise that although we do mention products or services designed for making life easier, we do not guarantee the effectiveness of these products.  Our purpose is simply to inform the listener that they are available.  Any prices quoted throughout this edition are released on information provided by the supplier, but please be aware, these prices are subject to change.

For this edition of Soundtracks, your readers are Debbie How and Lindsay Carr. The script producer is Debbie How, the sound producer is Jane Klein and the editor John Black.

Sit back, relax and enjoy this 31st edition of Soundtracks.
