Collection Boxes
Our distinctive Guide Dog collection boxes are located all throughout the community. You can support our vital community services by simply placing a donation in these boxes, or you can get your workplace involved. Many businesses choose to support Guide Dogs by hosting one of these collection boxes. While it costs nothing to the business, it's invaluable to people with vision impairment in the community.
How will it benefit your business?
By hosting a Guide Dog collection box, you will position yourself as a community organisation in partnership with Guide Dogs. Our supporters report that customers and clients appreciate this contribution to the local community, and joke that they enjoy the companionship of a dog without the responsibility.
Big dog, little dog?
Just like Guide Dogs, our collection boxes come in different shapes and sizes. At 28 cm tall, the mini model dog is ideal to collect spare change near the till or in non cash environments to collect gold coin donations actively for things life mufti days. The life-size dog is 83 cm tall, and it's ideal for high traffic areas in clubs, supermarkets and shopping centres. We also know that staff and parents alike love the life-size dogs because parents frequently give their kids a few coins and tell them to wait at the Guide Dog while they pay their bill. This leaves staff and parents more relaxed while children are entertained as they pat the coin catching canines.
All collection boxes are safe, lockable and easily secured to counters or stands. All you need to do is name your dog and in some cases we may ask that you forward the donations to us regularly depending on where you are in NSW or the ACT.
