Dogs on Show

Dogs on Show is back and bigger than ever, thanks to Gulliver, the world’s largest Guide Dog. The 4.3 metres tall, 690 kilogram fibreglass blond Lab will join dogs of all shapes and sizes to help celebrate man’s best friend and spread a very important message to the local community.

Run by Dogs NSW to showcase all the fun sports and activities you can enjoy with your canine friend, Gulliver’s presence at Dogs on Show will give Guide Dogs NSW/ACT the chance to raise awareness of the services the organisation provides at no cost to people who are blind or vision impaired.

Dogs on Show will showcase a whole kennel full of doggy activities and attractions, including a Championship Dog Show, a Pageant of Breeds and even some Jack Russell Terrier racing. As part of the NSW Government's Responsible Pet Education program, there will also be a special segment on ‘Children's Safety with Dogs’ which will highlight the correct ways to approach dogs and the need for supervision with young children.

In addition to the many pawesome activities to enjoy on the day, the public will have the opportunity to support Guide Dogs by purchasing merchandise.

Dogs on Show will be a fabulous day out for the dog enthusiast, for someone unsure about what type of dog would best suit them, or simply a fun free day out for the entire family.
