Guide Dogs Christmas audio described tours
Guide Dogs NSW/ACT is delighted to once again be the official Sydney Christmas charity partner.
In the lead up to Christmas, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT will be again running free audio described tours in and around Martin Place in Sydney for people who are blind and vision impaired.
These interactive tours, which will occur on 8 and 15 December, will provide participants with a live commentary of all the Christmas festivities and displays being featured by the City of Sydney.
As we walk through Martin Place at night, enjoy the wonderful sounds of the street choirs, get involved and help light up one of the branches on the interactive Christmas tree and enjoy the brilliant projections which will light up some of Sydney’s most beautiful historic buildings.
This year we are also encouraging people without vision impairment to join our tours. If you would like to have the experience of going under blindfold and enjoying these Christmas festivities using your hearing as your primary sense, feel free to register too.
Each tour will run from 7pm to 8.30pm. If you are interested in coming along, please book your free spot by contacting Tiffany at tmitchell [at] guidedogs.com.au
Tours will start from No.1 Martin Place.
