Dog Lovers Show Sydney 2018

It was a big weekend for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT at The Dog Lovers Show, the world's greatest festival for dog lovers and one of the largest dog events in the world. The show took place at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park, Sydney where thousands of dog lovers and over 500 beautiful dogs united to celebrate everything we love about our furry friends.

Pat a Pooch

Our future Guide Dog puppies received plenty of pats and cuddles in the Pat a Pooch area alongside other dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes. The Pat a Pooch sessions give the opportunity for both adults and kids to interact with our latest litter of future Guide Dog puppies and speak to our on-site Puppy Development Advisors about the journey of the Guide Dogs and the importance of the Puppy Raising Program where these precious pups are placed in the loving home environments of volunteer Puppy Raisers until they reach 12-14 months of age.

We met so many passionate dog enthusiasts and one of our wonderful volunteer Puppy Raisers even stopped by to cuddle her puppy Kingsley!

Not only does he love photo opportunities, Gulliver is here to help raise awareness for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT and did a great job making sure all our four-legged friends at the show were on their best behaviour this weekend.
