Last Friday was one to remember for the McClelland family, who spent the day enjoying The Ultimate Puppy Experience at the Guide Dog Centre.

Luke McClelland was the winner of Guide Dog NSW/ACT’s Christmas raffle and chose to share the once in a lifetime experience with his partner Nikki and three-year-old son Alfie. The experience included one night’s stay at the luxury Sebel Hawkesbury Resort and transport to the Guide Dog Centre via limousine, followed by a tour of the Centre.

The family also had exclusive playtime and photoshoot with adorable eight-week-old Guide Dog puppies, including the chance to meet Jake, the puppy they named. The pups loved the additional attention and the opportunity to show off their boundless puppy energy!

“We have a pet Labrador at home so Alfie was really excited to meet and play with Jake, as well as learn about how he will one day grow up to become a Guide Dog,” said Luke.

The money raised from the Christmas Raffle will support the training of future Guide Dogs.

It costs more than $35,000 to breed, raise and train one Guide Dog.
