Improved life choices

Support connection

The NDIS brings enormous change for many people. We are keen to assist participants to transition to the Scheme as quickly and easily as possible.

Our staff are aware of the wide variety of supports that people who are blind or vision impaired require and can help participants to find and link with mainstream, informal and formal support providers that best meet their individual needs and preferences.

Co-ordination of supports

As well as connecting participants to support providers, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT can help participants with the coordination of supports on their individualised plans. This includes resolving points of crisis, monitoring budgets and goals and developing participants’ networks. Importantly, we can help participants to coordinate their access and use of a range of mainstream, informal and formal supports.
